Tym razem w kieliszku zagościła wersja 10.3, która na pierwszy rzut oka powinna bardzo przypominać edycję 10.1.

Jak to zwykle bywa, diabeł tkwi w szczegółach.

Octomore 10.3, dojrzewał przez 6 lat w beczkach pierwszego napełnienia po amerykańskich whiskey. Zatem o rok więcej niż 10.1.

Kolejna różnica polega na użytym słodzie jęczmiennym, w 10.3, całość pochodzi z Islay.

Taste: initially a lot of sweetness, intense, spicy, vanilla caramel, earthy, smoke much clearer, ash, slightly medical, wet rope, moisture, decayed wood, smoked malt, citrus, lemon zest, red grapefruit, traces of gooseberry, smoked ham, brine , salted dried meat, earthy peat, seafood, vanilla again, fudge, butter, butter toast, cookies, sweet refreshing mint, a bit like toothpaste, white grapes, smell of burning, plastic, condensed milk, cream
